Public Meeting
Michele Christian, manager of the narural resource division, had invited the community for this first INTEGRE meeting. She presented the overall project, the currrect action plan for Pitcairn, and opened the discussion on three proposals:
- create a botanical garden (from Carol Warren)
- create a glass blowing activity (from Jacqui christian)
- buy a new community chipper (from Michele Christian)
The 9 persons present actively participated. They liked the proposals and raised some questions concerning their implementation, feasibility or budget that need now to be adressed. A proposal will be submitted to the Pitcairn Island Council so as to be approved in order to be presented to the steering committee before the end of the year.
